Pre-arrival

    • 1 month of of virtual support and advice prior to your arrival in London to ask any kind of questions that might come up ahead of your big move.*

    • Up to 2 video chats per month (50 min each) for the purposes of asking questions and/or goal setting.

    • The option to move onto our “London Boost package” at a discounted rate upon your arrival in London.

New arrivals

  • A friendly member of our team will meet you at the London airport or train station of your choice and accompany you to your pre-arranged accommodation.* Particularly helpful for those navigating public transport in London for the first time.

    *Note: This service is subject to staff availability. Book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Clients are responsible for pre-arranging accommodation prior to arrival in London.

  • We will create and deliver a personalised tour of the local area around your pre-arranged accommodation. Includes:

    • Nearby grocery options

    • Closest post office

    • Local NHS GP surgery and closest A&E location

    • Bank branches and cash points

    • Public transport stops

    • Possible study locations

    • Nearby gyms and/or parks

    • Nearby well rated barber or hair salon options

    • Where applicable, interesting local history facts

  • Setting up a bank account can be a source of frustration for London students. Every bank requires different paperwork and processes can be time consuming.

    Our service includes:

    • Discussion about the procedures and documents typically required to set up a UK account.

    • A list of main UK banks for your review.*

    • Review of your documents ahead of your appointment to ensure you have everything you need.

    • Upon request, a member of our team can accompany you to your appointment.

  • Includes:

    • Discussion about the procedures and documents typically required to set up a mobile phone account in the UK.

    • A list of main UK mobile phone providers for your review.

    • Review of your documentation ahead of your appointment to ensure you have everything you need.

    • Upon request, a member of our team can accompany you to the branch of your choice to set up your account.

  • Depending on how far you have moved, and what sort of furnishings come included with your accommodation, you may need to shop for supplies upon arrival. (For example, bedding, towels, toiletries, stationary, study materials etc.) We provide you with a list of frequently needed items to assist with your shopping list. Our staff is available to assist with pre-purchase of items so that they are ready upon your arrival. Alternatively, a member of staff is available to accompany you to shops to help with selecting items and budgeting.

  • We highly recommend that you register with a doctor (GP) as soon as possible after your arrival in London. Don’t wait until you are unwell to take this step, as it could slow down treatment when you need it!

    Our staff can assist you with reviewing GP options in your postcode area, and help to ensure that you have the paperwork you need for setting up your account. Upon request, we are also available to accompany you to the surgery to register.

Current students

    • Up to 2 video chats (20 min each) per month for the purposes of asking questions and/or goal setting.

  • 3 meetings (approximately 50 minutes each) for the purposes of creating a tentative study plan for your academic year. Includes:

    • Review and discussion of your courses’ syllabi to ensure that all deadlines are in your diary.

    • Collaborate together to identify overlapping deadlines and discussion of ways to plan ahead for busy periods.

    • Help you to break each assessment into smaller and more manageable “mini-deadlines”.

    • Ensure that your goals are achievable and that you’ve scheduled breaks.

    Please Note: Your study plan will organically change during the course of the academic year. See “Staying organised” to learn more about how to ensure you’re keeping up and adjusting your timelines to suit your changing schedule.

    Fees: £200 (price for 3 sessions)

  • Often making a plan is the easy part - sticking to the plan can be another story! That’s why we strongly recommend scheduling regular “Staying organised” sessions with a member of our team to help you stay on track.

    In these 50 minute sessions, we will:

    • Review previous goals

    • Discuss your progress to date and any barriers you’ve experienced

    • Review and update your study plan as needed

    • Set new goals for your next session.

    Weekly sessions are recommended for best results.

    Fees: £80 per session

  • Do you struggle to sit down, focus and get work done? A body double is a calm, quiet person who sits with you while you perform tasks that are difficult to complete alone.

    A member of our team will pre-arrange regular work session times with you. Sessions may be between two and six hours with lots of breaks. They will typically take place via Zoom, though in-person sessions may be arranged upon request.

    At the beginning of the session, you will share your goals for the session. You may choose to share your screen with your body double so that they can help you stay on track. Alternatively, you may request that your body double works quietly on something separately so that the experience feels more like a joint study session.

    Fee, online sessions: £18 per hour

    Fee, in-person sessions: £23 per hour*

    *Available to those in London Zones 1-5 only

  • Note: This service is dependent on staff availability - we do not guarantee acceptance of all offered work. You are strongly encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment. A 72 hour turn-around time is typically required for all work.

    We will correct grammar, spelling, word order, punctuation and paragraphing. We will NOT rewrite work to make it sound more “intelligent” or “analytical”, nor will we make content changes. Staff are unlikely to have a subject area background.

    Fee: £35.00 per hour. *

    *For small pieces of work, there is a minimum charge of £35.00. For services where the total estimated cost will exceed £245, you may be asked for a deposit. On completion, you will be contacted and asked to pay the balance due before your edited work will be returned to you.

Career preparation

  • Dependent on staff availability. We do not guarantee acceptance of all offered work. You are strongly encouraged to book in early to avoid disappointment. A 72 hour turn-around time is typically required for all work.

    Includes correction of grammar, spelling, word order, punctuation and paragraphing. Although suggestions will be given regarding possible edits and/or rephrasing to improve the CV as appropriate, it is important to note that staff are not subject trained and so are unlikely to be able to offer industry standard feedback.


    Fee: £35.00 per hour (minimum 1 hour)

  • Includes:

    • 30 minute mock-interview

    • 30 minute post-interview discussion to talk through and offer feedback on some of the answers you gave to standard interview questions, including suggestions for improvement as appropriate

    • Within 24 working hours, you will receive a summary of the feedback given via email.

    Fee: £80 per interview
